The mission of the Division of Community Health in the Department of Family and Community Health of the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University is to improve the health of the people of West Virginia and surrounding areas through education, service, and research.\u00a0 Initiatives are carried out with an emphasis on rural and small town communities and underserved peoples, and, to advance the health of such communities through developed, innovative and effective methods.<\/p>\n<\/div>
